In relationships, honesty is usually the best policy. However, there are exceptions to every rule and there are certain things that you should keep secret from your partner:
· You hate their family. Even if they are always complaining about their family, you should never tell your partner that you don’t like their parents or anyone else in their family. As the saying goes, blood is thicker than water, and they are sure to be hurt and get defensive of anyone in their family that you don’t like. Just be polite and try to minimize the amount of time you spend with their family, but never tell them the truth.
